I’m 15 and have GCSE exams this summer which are important. I study the majority of my time and I actually enjoy studying. However, I want to have some hobbies apart from surfing the Internet, writing and reading. I can’t do many sports like surfing, basketball, volleyball, ice skating etc. because I live in practically the middle of nowhere. I want a hobby that is quite intellectual too (not chess), I can’t do business because I won’t have time. What hobbies can I do?

We have 4 laptops in our house and all of them are able to wirelessly connect to the internet, but one. The one we are having a problem with is a dell and it runs windows xp home. At first it said it could not renew the ip address then when I did ipconfig/renew it said it could not connect to DHCP server.I have tried many things based on directions from tech forum sites. I have tried ipconfig/release and ipconfig/renew. I have tried rebooting the router/modem. I have disabled antivirus programs, I have flushed the dns, I have reset the winsock, and have manually entered in the ip address and dns server address to match one of the other computers. When I manually entered in the ip address, I thought it had fixed the problem as it no longer had the yellow exclamation box and said it was connected, but I still could not connect to the internet. I then did ipconfig/all and it said the dhcp was not enabled, but the only way to enable it is to automatically enter in the ip address and then it can’t find the ip address, so I am back at square one. I have tried everything and am getting desperate, so if you know what to try next, please let me know.

im having a LAN party with my mates and i was worried about them using up to much of my bandwidth ( since i only have 50GB), so i wondering if there was a program that allowed me to view that downloads of everyone on my network ( as in how much they download) and if im able to block them ( as in disconnect them from my network till i want to let them back on?

The ISP i have promises UP TO 4mgps however its always under 1 mega, and i’ve done so many claims and months pass by and they just ignore my claims and keep saying UP TO 4mgps.

What i mean is, are files that we download from the internet downloaded from start to finnish, meaning from byte 1 to byte 1000000 for example?

if so, could i download a video, could i watch 20% of the video as long as the file is more than 20% downloaded?

If files are not downloaded from start to finnish, whye not?

My son has been acting quite suspiciously recently, and I think he’s been doing some bad things on the internet. He has a macintosh laptop whereas the rest of my household runs with windows, he needs it for school. It is all but impossible to separate him from the thing for more than a few minutes, so I’m looking for a keylogger that I could plant on his computer by just pressing a couple buttons after inserting a usb, or sneaking it in via email. I’ve found a few good ones but I don’t have access to another mac to preconfigure it before installation, and there’s no way I could have enough time to do it without him knowing, he sleeps with it for the love of God. He also does not use a mouse, so no hardware loggers either. I would prefer a free program as I’m on a tight budget, but I’m willing to spend up to $100 if I have to. Whatever I get, however, has to be incredibly easy to use even with the OS barrier.
