[ Other - Politics & Government ] Open Question : London Stock Exchange Bomb Plot?

I read this article on the BBC: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-16833032 Four men were planning the attack and got arrested and have pleaded guilty to attempting to carry out acts of terrorism. I’m doing a commentary where I have to analyze the article for my World Politics class. Things I’ve including so far is the impact of globalization on terrorism (since the men were using mobile phones and internet to communicate) and warning that there are still many people with terrorist ideas, which can be a threat to security. What other sort of things could I discuss?

[ Languages ] Open Question : When to contract "di" in Italian?

I have tried to Google this and look up grammar books but I can’t quite get a proper explanation. My example is from an essay I’m writing, and I want to say “Most students think…” so I’ve written “La maggior parte dei studenti pensino…” Why isn’t it “di”? (I am mixing myself up with French too, as with quantities you rarely make “de” contract with the article.) And also what are the rules apart from adverbs of quantity? short question: how do you know when to turn di into dell/della/delle etc? :)
