[ Diet & Fitness ] Open Question : CAN I LOOSE 10 POUND IN 10 DAYS?

I have an event coming up I really want to look my best for it, I don’t want to do a fast because I’ve got too much going on so I’ll need my energy. I was thinking of having a muller light for breakfast, skipping lunch (I don’t usually find myself getting too hungry during the day anyway) and having a relatively big meal of meat like lean steak and a salad for dinner. Do you think 1 pound a day weight loss is possible doing this? I understand this is not healthy in the long term but this is just for 10 days after which I’m going to adopt a healthy eating plan Any help will be much appreciated thanks x

[ Diet & Fitness ] Open Question : My sister’s healthy diet isn’t healthy?

I believe my sister has an unhealthy diet that she consumes. All she eats all day is ten weetabix; no milk just hot water, eats fruit throughout the day; namely apples mostly, and a dinner of baked potato with cut up cabbage and carrots. After that nothing. She has no bread, butter, sweets, crisps, meat, milk, you name it, she doesn’t differ to what I’ve just mentioned above. Of course, I’ve read on the internet that such consumption of food is helpful towards diet and weight loss, but she’s already lost a lot of weight in an unhealthy way that makes me think she’s anorexic. Being 21, there’s nothing I can do to stop her, but I’m sure of what to do. And I can’t sit her down and talk to her, because I know she’ll just pretend to just to get me off her back, regardless of how I approach her with the subject.

[ Diet & Fitness ] Open Question : Is this a good amount of exercise?

I currently love the gym, and I’m going 3-4 times a week. When I’m there, I do 200 leg exercises on a low weight , 60 arm exercises on a medium weight and 40 minutes combined on the cycling and rowing machine. This is all going at my natural pace- I don’t feel it’s really too much or too little. I also swim 30-60 lengths a week at the pool. Is this a good amount of exercise? I’m controlling my diet too, does anyone know if this will all result in weight loss? If so, how long will it take to see a difference? Thank you very much in advance.
