[ Law & Ethics ] Open Question : Can an employer buy out a part time associate out in order to avoid a lawsuit?

I have been working for my company for almost 5 months. I have left early 5 or less times, due to a medical condition I have with my liver, and once because I didn’t think I was emotionally stable enough to be professional. I also have the medical part documented and I also receive social security disability income and have an extensive history with issues with my mental health up until age 20. The issue at work was a co worker was purposely messing up orders to piss a co worker off but it affected the entire food line, messing up order times and him also not giving names so food sat there and got cold. He als o likes to come over and hang out with us. I cursed him out and said harsh words, which my district manager knows about, and he then took a ridged knife used for cutting sandwiches, and jab it into my side and kept it there. IT didn’t break skin but it really hurt because I have an enlarged liver. This was all in the view of the surveillance cameras they have. I do not know what they are going to do, but the district manager said I will still have my job. But I strongly feel and so do others that it is going to be hard to work with, and possibly not resolved. I have also have my doubts about what they are going to do. Would a company buy you out even though you are part time? In case they cant successfully resolve it?

[ Other - Careers & Employment ] Open Question : i lost my job at the resort i was at.?

i lost it cause i couldnt do it cause of several surgeries, two hips and a knee one, i applied for disability but its taking forever, i have a hud apartment which helps when im out of work, i get medicaid and adult financial which is kind of like foodstamps only in money, since i cant work cause of my recent knee surgery i thought of taking out my retirement money out early, and i wondered how it affects everything else like will i lose medicaid and adult financial, and im sure my rent will be more because of it,that is if they still let me stay there cause of more income. i know i have to report all this if i get the money out, but i wondered if its considered income if you havent done the paperwork yet to get the money out or is it considered income once you get the big check? like when do i need to tell all these people about it? i could really use a little nest egg right now too, and just wondered when im supposed to report it and when its considered income, i know i might not get disabillity because of it, right now i dont have it so unless i do i probably dont need to say anything, right? i know people say its better to keep it in there till youre 65 but what if you die before then anyways and the money couldve helped you out when you were out of work and couldnt work anyways.
