Hi I’m about to buy a houseboat – the payment will go to the Marina where the boat is moored – am guessing that the process is much like buying a house. I’m with the Co-op bank – does anyone know what the process is – I would go into a branch of the bank to inform them and set up a transfer? Will they charge for this / how long does it take etc? My situation is that I live with my parents, i’m 25. We all work and are trying to save for a home. We aren’t very rich at all. Anyways. I had been saving for a DSLR camera hoping to maybe use it as a tool for my webdesign business – still in the making. I bought the camera – £1050. But now i just feel so guilty!!! Like I should be saving that money for us as a family, but instead i’ve bough this very expensive piece of equipment. Its such a horrible feeling – as I feel so selfish and it looks like I don’t care about my folks. When the truth is I love them – ALOT! Have you ever felt guilty for buying something expensive for yourself? what did you do – change you mind and get a refund?
