The Los Angeles Film Festival will host the U.S. premiere for DreamWorks and Paramount’s “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” on June 22, two days before the theatrical release. Film Independent, which made the announcement Wednesday, said the sequel will screen at the Village, Bruin and Avco theaters. The org noted that the fest served a similar role two years ago, when it hosted the L.A. preem for “Transformers,” drawing more than 4,500 guests to five theaters in Westwood. The festival also announced that tickets to the premiere of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” directed by Michael Bay and starring Shia LaBeouf, can be obtained by purchasing a pass to the fest.
